What does HDK Events do?

HDK Events is a family-run group experience company specialising in trips across Derbyshire and the Peak District. We help groups plan accommodation, transport, activities and logistics, creating seamless experiences from start to finish.

What types of groups do you work with?

We work with corporate teams, schools, sports clubs, retreat hosts, event organisers and adult groups. From team building days to group getaways, we tailor each experience to the group’s needs.

Where are you based?

We’re based in Derbyshire and operate across the Peak District and surrounding areas. Our local knowledge allows us to recommend the best locations, suppliers and experiences for each group.

Do you provide accommodation and transport?

Yes. We can arrange group accommodation, transport, catering and activities — or simply support with the elements you need help with. We’re flexible and work around your plans.

Do you work with local suppliers?

Yes — wherever possible we work with small, trusted local businesses across the Peak District and Derbyshire. This helps us deliver better, more personal experiences while supporting the local community

Are you a booking platform or a local events company?

We’re a small, family-run events company. When you book with HDK Events, you deal directly with our team — not a call centre or automated system.

We arranged a team building day with HDK, Raft building at Carsington Res in the morning and The Hunted at Black Rocks in the afternoon. The hunted activity and guys were incredible and so much fun! Joe and the cocktail company were brilliant, professional and such a laugh. Amazing accommodation with a hot tub, beautiful views! I had the unenviable task of organising an activity for 13 adults for a corporate event with various levels of enthusiasm! The booking process was proactive and River Rafting was the perfect experience for us. The Team at HDK were engaging, informative and fun and we had an amazing time. He helped me organise a fantastic team day out in the Peak District and made the whole process incredibly easy. We did river rafting and shooting syndicate, and both activities were spot on – really well organised and great fun. My team absolutely loved it. What really made the day though was how seamless everything was. The transport, food and timings were all taken care of, so I didn’t have to think about a thing and could just enjoy the day with the team.
