What happens on the day
The Squid Trials experience lasts around 2–2½ hours, making it a great half-day option. Your group will be split into teams, with hosted challenges, scoring and plenty of interaction to keep everyone involved.
Arrival & Preparation
Whether you join us at a Peak District location, host the experience at your own venue, or would like us to source a suitable venue for you, your group will be welcomed by experienced facilitators and introduced to the session.
This includes:
- A warm welcome and overview of the experience
- Team allocation and explanation of the format
- Introduction to each challenge and how scoring works
- Full briefing and guidance throughout
Once everyone is ready, the games begin with teams competing across a series of challenges to earn points and climb the leaderboard.
The Squid Trials Experience
On the day, your group will be split into teams and take part in a series of fast-paced challenges. Points are won (and sometimes lost) depending on performance, with scores building as the experience progresses creating a natural sense of competition and team rivalry.
Activities are designed to be simple to understand but highly engaging, and may include a mix of:
- Relay-style races and timed challenges
- Accuracy-based games and target challenges
- Problem-solving or strategy tasks
- Team coordination and communication games
- Classic sports day-style activities with a competitive twist
Each team will take part in multiple rounds, giving everyone the chance to get involved, contribute and enjoy the experience.
The session builds towards a final result, with a winning team crowned at the end bringing everything together in a fun, energetic and memorable way.
