What is outdoor team target challenge?
The Outdoor Team Target Challenge is a multi-activity experience designed to keep everyone involved, active and engaged throughout the session.
Often known as a “shooting syndicate” experience, this format brings together a variety of instructor-led, target-based challenges in one seamless event.
Your team will rotate through activities such as:
- Clay pigeon shooting
- Axe throwing
- Rifle shooting
- Archery or crossbow shooting
- Additional target-based challenges
Rather than standing around waiting for a turn, this format keeps energy high and gives everyone the chance to get involved, regardless of experience.
Sessions are fully hosted by experienced instructors in a safe, supportive environment, making it ideal for mixed groups.
What happens on the day
Our team target challenge is fully organised so your team can simply turn up and enjoy.
Arrival & Preparation
On arrival at your private country estate venue, your group will be welcomed by experienced, fully qualified instructors and introduced to the day ahead.
This includes:
- A warm welcome and overview of the experience
- Group organisation based on your numbers — either staying together or splitting into smaller teams to keep the day flowing smoothly
- Introduction to each activity and how the session will run
- Full safety briefing for all activities
- Guidance and support from instructors throughout
Once everyone is ready, your team will begin rotating through the different target-based challenges, with instructors on hand to guide, support and keep things running seamlessly.
Outdoor Team Target Challenge
The Outdoor Team Target Challenge includes a series of five instructor-led target activities, designed to keep your team engaged, active and working together throughout the session.
Axe Throwing
Test your accuracy and technique as you take on one of the fastest-growing outdoor activities. With expert guidance, your team will quickly get the hang of it and discover just how satisfying it is to hit the target.
Clay Pigeon Shooting & Pump Action Shotguns
Take aim at flying targets set against the stunning backdrop of the Peak District. With a range of shotguns available and full instruction provided, this is a great challenge for building focus and confidence.
.22 Calibre Rifle Shooting
Step onto the range and refine your precision. This activity is all about control and concentration, giving team members the chance to develop their aim and improve with each round.
Crossbow Shooting
Try something a little different as you take on the challenge of crossbow shooting. It’s a unique experience that combines focus, technique and a steady hand with great results when you hit the mark.
Traditional Archery
Channel your inner Robin Hood with this classic activity. Guided by experienced instructors, your team will learn the basics and enjoy the satisfaction of hitting the target with a traditional longbow.
Each participant will have a minimum of 10 shots per activity, giving plenty of opportunity to build confidence, improve technique and enjoy a real sense of achievement.
